voco St David’s Cardiff has launched its new Tiger Bay floor, following a £650k refurbishment, and you can win a stay for two in one of its rooms.

The Tiger Bay Floor, located at the very top of the five-star hotel in Cardiff Bay, marks the inaugural phase of an extensive room renovation project, with all floors planned for completion by 2026.

It is part of a wider multi-million-pound investment plan for the iconic waterfront hotel as it enters its 25th year this year.

Tiger Bay – or, as it is now known, Cardiff Bay – is Wales’ oldest and most diverse communities and once housed 10,000 people from 57 nationalities. This thriving cultural melting pot has welcomed travellers far and wide for over a century.

Now, some 180 years after Tiger Bay first acquired its name, voco® St. David’s, Cardiff continues the bay’s legacy with its Llawr Bae Teigr: Tiger Bay Floor.

Drawing inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of Tiger Bay, the 12 rooms, two Junior Suites, and two Tiger Bay Suites, where a number of top celebrities and sport stars have stayed in the past, offer an elevated stay for guests.

Featuring a contemporary design with deep, earthy tones, brass accents, natural materials, and plush textures, all elements of the rooms converge to create a contemporary yet grounded atmosphere.
